In our OKR (Objectives and Key Results) module, you can add weights to both Child-level Objectives and Key Results to adjust their importance in calculating the overall completion rate of a Parent-level Objective. This feature allows you to prioritize certain elements within your OKR structure.
When you have a Child-level Objective tied to a Parent-level Objective, you can assign a weight to it:
Navigate to the Parent Objective's details page
Scroll down to the "Contributing child Objectives" section
For each Child Objective, you'll see a "Child Objective weight coefficient" field
Enter a numerical value to represent the weight (e.g., 1 for normal weight, 2 for double importance)
You can also add weights to the Key Results of a Parent-level Objective:
Open the Parent Objective's details page
In the "MEASURABLE KEY RESULTS" section, you'll find each Key Result listed
Next to each Key Result, there's a weight coefficient field
Enter a numerical value to represent the weight of each Key Result
Weight coefficients allow you to adjust the importance of Child Objectives or Key Results when calculating the Parent Objective's completion rate. A higher weight means the item has more influence on the overall progress.
For example:
A weight of 1 represents normal importance
A weight of 2 would make the item twice as important
A weight of 0.5 would make the item half as important
By using weights effectively, you can ensure that your OKRs accurately reflect the priorities of your organization or team.
