IMPACT has a list of notifications to keep you up to date with the OKR progress.

Set up notifications

Go to Edit profile → Notifications to manage your own notifications.

Select the one that you want to receive.

Or click “Unselect all” at the bottom of the page if you want to unsubscribe from all notifications.  

Email notifications

• My team's Objective updates (in progress)
  Get notified when Objectives in my teams are updated! Sent at most once per day by email (the following morning).

• My Objective updates (in progress)
  Get notified when someone updates the Objectives where I am assigned. Sent at most once per day by email (the following morning).

• Reminder to update your Objectives
  Get notified on Monday afternoon if you didn't update your Objectives for 2 weeks or 2 weeks before the cycle ends.

• Weekly digest (in progress)
  Get a weekly digest on Monday morning about the updates in my team's Objectives.

Slack channel notifications

👆Note: Slack notifications become available only after the workspace Admin connects Slack in Workspace settings → Slack.

You can select the team Slack channel where you want to receive updates about the team Objectives. The messages are combined and sent at most every 30 mins (to avoid spamming the channel). 

Please, note that notifications are available only for Team Objectives. If you created Individual OKRs and assigned your team to Key Results, you will not be notified about any updates they make.

To set up the Slack channel for reach team, go to All teams, select 3 dots next to the team, click the Edit team and pick a channel.

We recommend having a separate channel for each team. In that case, the channel won’t be filled with updates that are not relevant to this team. And team members usually pay more attention to such updates.

Connect Microsoft Teams to receive OKR updates from IMPACT

IMPACT integrates with Microsoft Teams through Webhooks.

3 steps to complete the integration with MS Teams in IMPACT:

1. Enable MS Teams integration in Workspace settings;

2. Generate a webhook for your Microsoft Teams channel;

3. Add the webhook from Step 2 to the team in IMPACT.

Step 1 — Enable MS Teams integration in Workspace settings

To enable Microsoft Teams webhooks, go to Workspace settings → Integrations, and enable Microsoft Teams integration.

Step 2 — Generate a webhook for your Microsoft Teams channel

To do this step, you need to have permissions to edit channels inside your MS Teams.

Next to the channel where you want to receive updates about OKRs, click the 3-dots menu → Connectors.

Among connectors, select "Incoming Webhook", and click "Create" (or "Configure").

Give the webhook a name (like IMPACT Notifications), and a logo (select the one below or download by this link

Press Create, and copy the webhook link.

Step 3 — Add the webhook from Step 2 to the team in Plai

Go to Teams → Edit team, insert the webhook you copied from MS Teams, and click Save!

You're done! 🎉

Some more info

You can repeat Steps 2 and 3 for as many teams and channels as you like. You can connect several teams to one channel, no limit here.

You can have both Slack and MS Teams enabled, and send the updates to both Slack and MS Teams (if you need).

Updates to Microsoft Teams will arrive at most every 30 minutes in a batch (in order not to spam channels with many updates).
