# Creating 1:1 Meetings

One-on-ones are essential to building strong, high-performing teams. With 1:1 meetings, you can collaborate on agenda, track notes, follow-up on action items, and always be prepared with 100's of questions and templates for your employees.

📝 Below is our **step-by-step guide** on how to create 1:1 Meetings.  

### **1\. Navigate to <**[**https://app.plai.team/**](https://app.plai.team/)**>**

### **2\. Click "Create 1:1"**

### **3\. Click "Search team member"**

### **4\. Select the person you are holding a 1:1 with**

### **5\. Click "Create 1:1"**

### **6\. Click "Start from template" (or you can start blank)**

### **7\. Click "** 🥇**First 1:1 meeting" (or choose from a wide range of templates)**

### **8\. Click "Apply" for the template to populate**

### **9\. You can enter a customized meeting title**

### **10\. Click the "Date" field to change the date**

### **11\. Select the correct date for the meeting**

### **12\. Click this dropdown to change the meeting time**

### **13\. Click "Save and Exit" once you're finished setting up the 1:1 Meeting**
