# Aligning OKRs

Cascading OKRs is a way to align your Objective with other Objectives (in any cycle).

📝 Here is a **step-by-step** guide on how to create cascading objectives and key results  

  1. **Navigate to**<https://app.plai.team/>

  2. **Click "Create Objective"**

  3. **Type your inspirational objective**

  4. **You can change the assigned OKR owner**

  5. **Next, enter your measurable key results**

  6. **Make sure the key result reflects your target percentage/number**

  7. **Add as many key results as you like**

  8. **Choose the correct objective cycle**

  9. **You can change visibility to public or private**

  10. **You can tie the 'child' objective to a 'parent' objective**

  11. **Select various OKR contributors before saving/submitting your OKR**
